Hallo peeps,
Just got two new 16-week old pullets yesterday (as well as two 8-week old silkies, yay!), I got the part that they were sex links with one parent being a RIR, but what could the other half be?
They are both partridge pattern, dark legs, one of them has feathers on the legs (see pics below) but the other one doesn't. Otherwise they look pretty much the same.
Apologies for the crappy photos taken with flash in a darkish coop, it's their first morning here and they are hiding in a corner as the troop isn't being too friendly with them yet... Poor sweeties, ain't no fun being at the bottom of the pecking order. They are healthy and half my flock comes from this breeder so I didn't separate them (I don't have any place to put them now that it's below freezing at night).
Opinions on breed mix?
