I found an add on Craigslist for 8 week old Ameraucana (yeah right) pullets. I had just rehomed 2 EE roos and 1 SS roo
(they were such good boys)
Anyway, these girls sounded great and were the right age to keep up with my crew at home. 15 girls, total now!!
When I went to the guys house to see the chicks, there were about 40 in the pen, but healthy and clean, and crowded. He has a ton of Roos in there. I really don't think he knows, not trying to scam anyone. There were 2 black and white EE roos (exactly my rehomed, Manny, although not as cute yet..lol) and another EE roo, at least and 6 more of other breeds, that I was able to tell were Roos with my limited knowledge on the subject. After studying mine grow up and move out, sadly, you get pretty good at it...lol My fear when I went to look at the new girls was they would be colors I wouldn't know how to tell the sex of. It was very difficult on a couple of the birds but I think I got girls this time. It was soooo cool to see that many older EE's together to test what I learned on BYC... lol
The new girls, always wanted the blue grey color...aren't they pretty!!!!??

They are living in my horse trailer right now for their quaranitne period.....

Check out that tail...lol..she is my most shy, 1st day home. Not a boy, right? She holds her tail higher than my strutin' Roo did, but totally girly when she puts it down.
that's her "I am stressed in my new home" look.

The 2 grey/blue girls are quite the twins except they have different colored heads. I can't wait til they turn into gorgeous hens.

This is OnRay and Mannie, my rehomed Roos. I think I found the female OnRay, I really!! wanted that color.
Thanks for lookin'
