New Goats! what breed?

I am thinking boer X Nubian too. I see the first picture has the doe holding her right front foot in the air, is it sore or is she posing for the camera? Did you get them from an auction? If so, the first thing you should do is worm them. I have never gotten a goat from an auction barn yet that didn't need to be wormed. I usually end up with the worst looking goats there and I worm them, give them good grain and a goat mineral, decent hay and they are looking like a million bucks in a few months.

Very unlikely but the dark one is colored like my Purebreed Oberhasli (rare dairy breed, formerly called Swiss Alpine, fairly large sized). White is dominant in goats so having that Oberhasli color is unusual and maybe a hint of one back a generation or 3 ... that is my best guess anyway. BTW - Oberhasli have one of the highest butterfat % in dairy breeds so the milk is very sweet & Cream rich so that would be a bonus if it passed w/ the coloring :) hope that helps. -Raine
Just a comment. Oberhaslis are not exactly rare. They are not one of the more common breeds of dairy goats, but they aren't rare either. That brown color looks more like an Alpine Chamoise color to me rather than the red seen in Oberhaslis. That black on the face and the black martingale is typical of the chamoise color pattern.
