I think brocolli is a little tougher for them to eat when they are small so I had to make sure it was chopped up nice and small - if i just gave them a whole floret of brocolli they'd give it a go but soon give up.

Yeah they’ve got delicate baby beaks, mine had their first taste of carrot the other day, they stole some carrot sticks from the big birds and ended up running around gumming them because they weren’t strong enough to chew them up.
