I just went to a nearby pond and returned with a tadpole, a small frog, and three guppie-like fish.

We believe we have two male fish and one female...we suspect it to be pregnant. Any info? By the way, I'm pretty sure goldfish food is okay for them, but are there any exceptions? What else can I feed them?

Also, how do you keep a frog alive? Does it need to be fed bugs every day? And the tadpole, I know, can eat spinach and a few other foods. Anybody know what else to feed them?

The guppy-like fish are probably mosquitofish (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mosquitofish)
The females are much much bigger than the males and you will see a dark/black patch near the birthing area if they are pregnant. The males often have a blue shimmery tail. They will eat anything a guppy would eat, they are close relatives.

I have a tadpole from the pond growing in a science kit thingy I got for the Grandson!!

This one is eating Tetrafauna ReptoMin for Aquatic Turtles, Newts and Frogs!! It's floating food sticks, he gets 1 once a day.

Grandson is staying with us for a few weeks sooooo the tadpole had to come to our house for care.

I would feed the froggie small crickets from the pet store. You can buy a bunch at one time and feed them orange slices or potato chunks.
