Starting out with my first coop. My dad has experience with chickens from way back and I'm keeping it in the family. My coop has been all salvaged material so far 8x10 x4 feet gonna have a few layers and a bunch of fryers. Hopefully this site can guide me along

you've got a good start on your coop - alot of people use re-purposed materials - get alot off Craigs list, and Re-Hab stores.

Just scored 11 4x10 sheets of plywood from the dumpster today. Looks like the coop will be done sooner than expected

I'm another newbie from Frederick! My 13 chicks arrived this week So excited! My coop is still under construction but hopefully will be completed in the next couple weeks.
