My family and I have decide to try the world of chickens. I have been busy building a coop and run and just picked up some chicks. Hope to get lucky and not get any roos so the neighbors don't crow about them. I wanted functional chickens(eggs) but the wife wanted pretty. So we got some easter eggers, couple of silkies and a couple of polish. Let the fun times begin.


I have already decide that I need some Serama's also. They are way cool
