New guy from NE CT

Hey everyone,

I've recently inherited a flock of chickens. I have 12 hens total of various breeds. I'm not a total newbie when it comes to chickens, but I still have a long way to go to be a seasoned chicken farmer. I look forward to meeting and interacting with everyone, as well as getting a better knowledge of chickens.

I am in Southern CT. I am a total newbie (new to everything chicken). I have a flock of 8 week old girls who are putting up with my caregiving efforts.

The coop is almost ready for them to get out of the basement.
