Recent changes in my health have forced me out of the workplace. I now have more time for the things I have loved since a boy. My wife and I recently turned our home office into a brooder. I purchased 10 one day old Barred Rocks and am currently finishing a coop and run adjacent to our back porch. I am fortunate to have an OHIO farmgirl as a wife. We have a three year old border collie LU-LU a ten year old black lab JILL and two cats. I lived a great deal of my boyhood with my grandfather who kept chickens, ducks, turkeys and pidgeons. I think the chickens never got out of my system. I have allready found many answers on BYC. I cannot wait for my peeps to arrive ! Just figuired I would introduce myself.
