Hello everyone glad to be apart of a great community here on chickens. Unfortunately my first post went to the predator and pest section as I have lost 1 of my 5 girls already please have a look there if you will and look at the story and provide insight if you can. Im enjoying the time with these chickens already and I look forward to browsing more on the forum here and raising our pet hens.

Thank you all! I would like to report that my Barred Rock Annie was hiding under the coupe. I spotted her yesterday through an opening in the font under the main door. Long story short I built the coupe on a large wooden pallet and made some runners for it so that it could be slid around. Little Annie got herself under a small depression and scooted under must have been the first night getting them in but all is well now. Everything fixed boarded up dug in and more. We have netting over the entire run and all are accounted for

Thank you all for your warm welcome and Im so looking forward to raising the peeps in conjunction with you all here. We have 5 in the coupe and another 4 coming on Sunday so excited
