new guy in Md

I did hardware cloth under the run also the run has chicken wire and hardware cloth around sides then folded up cloth that's on inside or run so three layers ten inches up tp keep critters out. I also have another smaller coop I could put together also to split flock up for more room.

It looks like that's got nests on both sides, so a total of six?

You need one nest per four chickens, but most of us always have extras for broodies. Still, you could pull the nests out of one side and still have three of them. That'd give them a little more room in there.

If you have a neighbor dog or any wild varmint that comes to attack, they can get through chicken wire, so I worry 10" up of your hardware cloth isn't enough.

I did one layer of chicken wire then wrapped entire side with hardware cloth also and where I put hardware cloth under the run I folded inside up so 8-10 inches up is 2 layer hardware cloth with chicken wire in between. I guess I could remove dividers for nesting area for a little more room.

Thank you all for the warm welcomes and tips. I have moved 7 of the 10 out to my coop at 5 weeks they were out growing the tub I had them in real fast. I left 1 of the cinnamon with the 2 week olds since one of them shadows her. I removed a divider for nesting boxes as suggested on one side to place water and food with them inside for a couple days. I already HATE the clean out tray since i spilled water as soon as I put it in and had to remove tray. Now realize how bad it will be trying to not drop all the shavings below coop on clean out. I am now looking at 10x10 sheds to convert does that seem big enough for my now 12 flock (damn you TSC) for having Gold Laced Wyandottes when i went to get another feeder.
