New Hampshire Chickenstock! Update!

FF the pants came from UAChef.com they are actually chef's pants..I just can't wear the traditional black houndstooth!!! Figured they would be appropriate at a chix gathering!

Since I missed the last NH chickenstock due to unforeseen circumstances, am I correct in that the next one is September 14th in the same location?

Julie

(PS I'll have hopefully buff laced polish chicks and guinea keats if anyone is interested)

Everyone should read this thread about Biosecurity.

https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=17696

It is very important that you quarantine your birds no matter the source and if you have even one sick bird, your moral obligation is not NOT sell, swap, trade or give away any birds from your flock until you isolate the problem and fix it. This is probably the main reason the rules and regs are so tight anymore, IMO.

Too many of our members have been devasted by bringing in a sick chick or hen. Don't take a chance on it happening to you!

May I make another suggestion??

the moderator/starter of this thread whose name escapes me now....if you were to add a link to the directions to get to where the NH chickenstock is so that every one of your posts were to have it it would help greatly.

many peeps even using mapquest, got misdirected while trying to find the Maine chickenstock.

And I'd love to come to this one too!!

Guinea keets, mabe some adults by then too, ducks, ducklings, and turkens/naked necks! woohoo!

Due to the distance, in order to bring as much stuff as I can, I will likely be coming alone. But I may have other peeps items with me too.....am looking for racks for my jeep with which to bring even more stuff....if I find some, I'll then have room for a peep or two.........

My daughter and I picked out 4 BLRW chicks at the June 29 Chickenstock. I'm terrible with names, so I forget who was selling them. She was the one with lots of BLRW of various ages. Mine were hatched June 26. They were in a cage with some other chicks (I forget which kinds). Anyway, one of the chicks does not look like the other three. If it is not a BLRW, I'm very curious to know what it could be! Can anyone remember what other kinds of chicks were in with the 3-day old BLRWs?
