New Hampshire/Jersey Giant Rooster, how would hens

from this cross lay?? A lady wants to give me this rooster in exchange for eggs to hatch from him over my hens. My question is this: Would hens from this rooster still be decent egg layers? Are Jersey Giants good layers? Thanks!

I have RIR, Black Star and Light Brahma hens.

I dont think you'd see a huge drop in productivity. Maybe from 6 eggs a week to 4-6 eggs a week. I could be wrong, though. Each chicken has its own internal clock.
