Great! How many eggs did I give you? What colors are the chicks so far? I have more eggs. If anyone wants them the hen is a red frizzle and the father is a white Japanese black tail.

Har last batch of chicks she had was a mix of barred and some gold laced. Some of the chicks had green colored legs so does that mean she has some EE in her? I know shes a Cochin Bantam mix. The Father of those chicks was the Black Cochin Bantam

What ever your hatching I'm going to have the same kind of chicks because the hen is on a bunch of eggs due to hatch on the 19th. She made her nest in one of the horse food dishes like the last one. I'll have to move her when the chicks hatch just like the last one. I know she won't abandon the nest. She's a great mom and very protective. I'll make sure I move her far away from the door way so the other chickens, Ducks and Turkey can go in and out. The last time she hatched chicks it was behind a couple trash cans by the door way and everyone was to scared to go by her. She acted like she was possessed if any of the other birds went any where next to her chicks

Some of the eggs were from the Barred Bantam and the others were from the Mille Fleur. The Mille Fleur hatched 5 chicks a little over a week ago and their mostly yellow, starting to gets some colored spots in their little wing feathers now

Hey Lisa, I was wondering what happened to ya...turns out my stroke could not be definitely diagnosed because the ct they did was not during the activity. All the symptoms were pointing to a stroke, and with my past history, that is what they thought, but the dr. today thinks it is a pinched vein or artery when I am sleeping cutting off blood supplies to my arm. I need to monitor the positions I sleep in now...i told him, no problem, i never sleep more thatn 2 hours total a night! LOL...you should put the kitchen set in heathers shop to sell. It sounds nice. Glad to have you back...not looking for a millie roo are ya???pleassssse!

Well, Hen Pen help me out by coming over and candleing my bator full of eggs today. I had about 10 OEGB's I got that were no good, or not even developing, all the sumatra from that lady on ebay (2nd batch at 30 bucks that were not even developing), 2 shrink wrapped babies that died at almost ready to hatch date, and a few of the dutch I got on ebay...matter of fact all 6 of them were no good either. So I ended up with about 18 or so eggs being pulled from the bator. No need to fret, I had plenty of eggs to put in. So I should be seeing (hopefully) some seabrights, and sebright mixes in about 20 days. Only roo I have breeding is a seabright and the hens are mixed and one pure cochin and a pair of seabrights.
