no one has been killed,
no one has been mauled,
no picture ( even with picture, looks like a large house cat)
no scat
no fur
its the imagination there for doesnt exsist.
 
You all just need a few Alaskan Malamute's and you wouldn't have to worry about predators.

I don't believe the mountain lion storys. Unless someone had one as a pet and let it loose. We have the storys all the time up by us. It normally ends up being a bobcat. Latley though they have been trapping some canadian lynx around here now.

My husband leaves for work at 3:30am...one day on route 3 he saw a rather large carcass on the side of the road that had just been hit by something. He pulled over, it was a mountain lion. He called fish and game, told him to leave they would send a truck to pick it up. When he called them back later to ask about where it could have come from, they denied ever getting such a call or picking amything up. This was inn the Nasua stretch of route 3 so they probably did not want to set off a pannick in the media. PS...he is a hunter so he knows the difference between the big cats, so he knew what it was.

I think they are trying to keep it all hush hush. My hubby also saw one as a child, they denied any reports.
