Lisa took the kittens for me, giveing them new homes, sooo happy.

The kittens checked out fine Felv/Fiv negative, exams checked out great, dewormed and vaccinated and two went to their new homes already. Been back and forth from home to the hospital to see my Mom so I'm not sure if the third one went to a new home yet. If not I'm sure it's being spoiled by every one at the Animal Hopital
 
Anyone have trained pigeons? I'm looking for a couple for a commercial that will fly from one place to another when released. Would like to borrow or buy

i just wanted to see if anyone might be interested in some corrugated metal panels while they are in Rochester on Saturday.

it was left from the previous owners of our house and it looks like it was from a metal shed-brown and some cream colored panels. would make for nice roofs for coops. could be painted a different color if needed.

i'm asking $20 for all of of them. will have to get the number of panels and dimensions tomorrow when i get home from work. (i think there is about 6 or 7 of them. and might be about 8 feet long each.)

It really felt like Halloween weather, to me it felt like a refresher. i like the air today, it felt clean.

Just a Country Girl, how has Bon Scott been for you? any problems or has he been good?

Bon Scott has been trying to fight with my other Roos' but the biggest probem is my big fat Tom Turkey want's to kill him and he tried jumping on him and squishing him like a bug. I have him in a seperate 9x14 pen right now so he doesn't get hurt. I can't believe how sweet he is. I've never seen a Rooster that likes to perch on your arm and shoulder like a Parrot. I did find someone that wants him so I don't ave to worry about Tommy hurting him​
 
he always was a sweetie that i liked. my other polish all do that too, and i've had other roos that i allowed to perch on my shoulders too. (bantams are easier to do it without feeling like your arm will give way any moment!) i may have spoiled them by allowing them to do it.

i was afraid he might not get along well with another roo he's never met before, he was fine with my Sunny and the 13 girls in with them, of course i had a 2 year old hen who 'ruled' the roost and kept them both in check (a little head bop put them in order and out of the way). it may just take some time for him to realize the pecking order.

i'm sure he tried to run after your other boy's hens and they didn't like him much for it. have you read anything about the rooster reform training? it might take a couple of weeks but it sounds like something that may work on him since he's still young.
