New Hampshire Red or Rhode Island Red?

Help! -- I bought 6 pullets from Tractor Supply in early April and I am trying to identify the breed. I am thinking they are a New Hampshire Red because they don't seem dark enough for a Rhode Island. What do you guys think?

The white in the tail feathers means that they are most likely red sex links. They will be excellent layers.

Oh very nice. I hadn't thought of that. I know they are too young yet, but are there any signs to look for if one is a rooster?

Red Sex-links.

If they are red sexlinks (likely), then they are all females, as the males are mostly white and very easy to see at every age (the whole point of creating "sexlinks", LOL).

Yep, red sex links - pullets. I have 2 red sex link & 2 black sex links. My two reds are very friendly.
