Hey Y'all I'm kinda new to the whole chicken raisin community. Was wanderin about NHR's. Wanted to know if any of y'all had any experience with em. Also wanted to ask y'alls opinions on choosin between NHR and RIR chickens. Is there really enough difference in the broodiness of them to justify the NHR? And as far as egg production are the RIR "far" greater than the NHR? Just a few lil questions I figured y'all could help me with. Need all the info I can get o please frie away!! Thank Y'all.

I posted a thread on here before I got started about dual purpose breeds and what to get. Here is the link- check it out, there is some good info on RIR vs NHR!! Good luck!

I got NHR firstly becuase of the rave reviews, and secondly, EVERYBODY gets RIRs... so I wanted something "different" that not everyone has...
