New Hampshire!!

Sorry to hear about sick birds. With wild birds able to get in and out of just about everywhere I feel that it is unfortunate that we all will experience some sickness if we do this long enough. It can be quite devistating! I feel for you.

This is one of the chicks I got from nhnanna. We named him (or her, no idea really) Gandalf. He has decided I'm his momma. He cries and cries and cries in the brooder box, but if you pick him up and let him perch on your hand, he goes to sleep. It's beyond cute. :)

This could be the cutest chick ever... please post more and she (he?) gets older... do you know what breed?

I am thinking she/he is crossed with a silkie frizzle and a Lavender Ameraucana.  There is a chance if bred there might be some frizzle chicks.  :thumbsup

I used to think the same thing. I have sinced learned that frizzle is a displayed gene if they do not look frizzled they do not carry the frizzle gene. Thought I would share. ;)
