Hi I bought the two girls in the picture a few months a go to add to our ex bat 3. They were advertised as a Light Sussex and a Buff Sussex but no picture, when I went to collect them Brenda (as she is known now) clearly is a light Sussex, but Jessica I don't believe by looks, size, the yellow legs or colour is a buff Sussex.p

I wonder if she is a Red New Hampshire? Any thoughts guys? (Sorry for the blurry picture but they refuse to stand still for more than 1 second)

Thank you. What is the difference between hatchery grade New Hampshire and stand New Hampshire?

APA standard New Hampshires have a very rich and even chestnut color, a deep body, bright orange eyes, bright yellow legs, and a clean single comb. Hatchery grade NHs typically have a shallower body, some off color reddish feathers on them, and sometimes lack the bright orange eyes. Also the combs are sometimes funky with points that do not have the APA uniformity or unevenly distributed points.

I agree with Michael OShay. Standard New Hampshire hens usually have black accents to the bottom neck feathers (though I've only seen one have that).
