Is it normal for a baby chick (1.5 days old) to have green colored poop? Also what causes it to cake and harden on her bum? Thank you in advance!

"Pasty Butt" can be dealt with by gently wiping their backsides with a warm cloth and gently towel drying.
Its a common thing that can happen but if not cleansed it can clog up the poor chicks and become serious.

Perfectly normal for the babies to poop green. Another tip for pasty butt is after you clean it off, put some mineral oil on their backside. It will help prevent the poo from sticking.
