I really feel this little one is not going to make it. It is just laying there but chirps. It now is laying and has its eyes closed. My question is should I put him out of his misery? If I should, how do I do it? Thanks form GA

I have given lethargic chicks a drop of Poly-Vi-Sol WITHOUT IRON. Some rally back and some don't but I feel that at least I tried and if they don't make it they weren't meant to.

IF he is still alive.. give him some time.. our late hactcher. who hatched 3 days after the rest. did something like that. he just layed there and chirped n chirped.. and I was soo worried.

I got up and left him alone with his mom and siblins and went inside n figured What happens happens over night and i'll do what i have to if nessary the next day.. and he was up and running around with the rest... so he could just be exzausted from hatching
