New hatcher questions.

Okay so I'm waiting for my brand new shiny incabator to come and I'm trying to save some of my eggs to hatch when it gets here. I know that eggs normaly keep for 10 days for hatching. I know that washing can push bacteria into the shell so I need to use the cleanest eggs possable. I THINK i need to store the eggs "pointed end" down in the carton. So do I need to turn them in the carton, if so how? Which way do I point it?

I know these are dumb question but I really want this to be a good hatch. Thanks in advance

Just put a book under one side of the carton and switch it 3 times a day. Turning just means moving the eggs so that the yoke won't stick on a side.

Okay one more question so they are already about three days old and I haven't been turning them can they still hatch or do I need to wait untill my hens lay some more?
