No I guess I messed up how I said it. I know they will be barred. The way to tell barred by sex is by the spot if I remember correctly. Small or none means female huge means male... right? Or does that not work for mixes?

Unless the EE was also barred, it doesn't work for mixes, I'm afraid.

Ah okay.. no the ee was an ee mix with a buff orpington. Dang it. I thought that was correct. I had been sexing them like that for a friend and had 98% success with the ones that I sexed for her XD.

If you were almost always right with the last batch, maybe it does work for those two specific chickens. Sometimes, genetics are weird. Keep an eye on this batch and see if it was a fluke or not.

The barred rock were also to bsl and iso brown.
I'm not counting the ones that were from the mom that was also barred mix since you said that
