I just hatched 6 baby chicks. 4 of them are barred rock dad with isa brown mom. I have 3 with the headspot and 1 solid black. Is it correct that they would only be sex linked if the isa brown was the roo and BR hen?

Another just about out and she is almost white. I'm guessing she got the dominate white from isa brown mom?

Yes. Barred momma makes a sexlink with RIR. Reverse doesn’t work unfortunately.

Hello I’m currently incubating six runner duck eggs and tomorrow is day 4 until there due date I was wondering if I could hatch them under heat lamp instead of incubator as my last runner nearly knocked the lid off

I would suggest keeping with the incubator if possible. The incubator provides both temperature control and humidity to the eggs.
