We purchased 10 "Pullets" 4 weeks ago and they all are going great!! Creating a huge mess as expected but very healthy!! I look forward to asking some questions as this is our first Chicken Venture!!

Are your coop and run finished? If so, boot them out. They would do fine in a huddle box with a heating pad at 4 weeks old.

Moving them out to the garage this weekend. We are in NC so it's not too chilly anymore. They are fluffing up in the shavings now away from the heat plate. I'm just scared to get them too cold. Coop and Run will be done in a week.

We got 3 Barred Rocks, 3 Ameracaunas, 2 Rhode Island Reds, and 2 black sex links.

In a week, they won't even need the heating pad out in the coop in NC. Just give them a huddle box and they'll be fine.
