New hatchling

We have a new resident less than an hour old. He is the first one to hatch. Now the mother has left the nest and is ignoring the baby. What do I do?

well, I have runners hence zero experience in broody ducks but I would think that keeping it warm might be a good idea. Don't worry about food or water today but get some heat on it. I see you are in Washington so it might be pretty chilly there.
