The newbies activity in the incubator turns the eggs that have yet to hatch. Would I get a better hatch rate if I prevented them from rolling around the eggs that have yet to hatch?
I have a Brinsea Octo20 Bator and have hatched 2 batches so far. First batch was a 94% hatch rate and there was minimal trampling/turning of the unhatched eggs. Second batch had an 82% hatch rate and the eggs that didn't hatch got turned a lot before the newbies were transferred.
Thoughts?
