I set 18 Serama eggs that I got from a fellow member here who lives near me and after 15 days I candled again and all were clear except 2. Those chicks pipped yesterday and I've been up off and on all night as they progressed. They did seem to need a little help but it was minimal and one chick is clear of the shell this morning and the other one well on his way.
I guess 2 of 18 isn't too bad, there was no development at all in the others. I had to crack them to see and they were not fertile at all with no development at 15 days.
Anyway, I have to go to work this morning so they will be free of my fussing over them for the day
They will stay snug in the incubator till I come home to fuss over them some more.
They are both solid pale yellow, does that mean they will be white? There were white Serama's where I got the eggs but she did have other colors too. They have nice strong peeps
