New hen has Eye drainage what do I do?

Is the hen sick or does it have a cold? Do I need to give hen anything? I just brought home 7 RIR and 1 has this eye drainage. Just looks like she has a tear going down her eye. Other than that she seems fine.

Chickens do get viral respiratory illnesses.

Let's hope it is something simple, maybe something in her eye, irritation from dust and dander, a minor injury, etc. Since they were just caught and transported, this wouldn't be too unlikely.

If you wish, you can put a little antibiotic ophthalmic ointment in her eye. You can get it at the feed store.
