New Hen. . . now what?

A friend of mine gave me a SLW yesterday. The hen was given to him by a friend who had to get rid of all of his birds. Anyways, I know I need to quarantine for at least 30 days, while looking for any signs of illnesses. So far I think her poop looks normal. . . just A LOT of it! She has already laid an egg for me so I know that's working. I have put DE in with her bedding and haven't noticed any obvious mites or lice. Should I bathe her??? If so, how do you bathe a chicken!?

I had a Dominique pullet that was a 'stray' found at the end of our driveway.. I didn't bathe her. I dusted her and gave her vitamins in her water and a 20% protein feed. I checked her legs, vent and under her wings for mites. She turned out to be a beautiful girl... Good luck with your new addition..
