New hen won't come out

Okay it's the rooster. She is scared of him. She has never been around a rooster and he has never been around well not sure what you call it so I am just going to say virgin. He wants to mate her and she doesn't know what he is doing any ideas besides removing them

Since she's new and you had to integrate her, did you do the proper process? The quarantine for a minimum of 2 weeks and the see-don't-touch setup for about 5 days? If not, this would make the transition safer and less worrisome for your flock. Good luck!

Oh alright. Well I would agree that she is probably nervous and feeling like she is intruding on territory she is not welcome in. As long as no blood is drawn, she is eating, drinking, defecating, and looking fine, I would just give it time and not worry too much. Best wishes for you and your flock!!!

I just closed them off until bedtime he doesn't bother her at bedtime

Watch for blood and bald spots, and if you can check that her crop is full when you put them to bed to be sure she's eating, and she'll be okay!
