New hens way Rooster damaged

I was just given 7 hens. The rooster they were in with was very very rough on them. What can I do? They look horrid.

just keep them fed well and any roosters you have off of them tell they molt would be best

I don't have a rooster in the coop they will be in. Will they feathers grow back before molt? Or do they just stay bald till they molt? Can chickens get sunburned? Their back and top of their wingsand necks are bald as well as their behinds.

They most likely won't grow new feathers for awhile. As was just reccomended to me - just make sure they get good protein.

You can try chicken saddles.

Also be very sure they do not have parasites which can cause or greatly contribute to feather loss.
