I was a member 5 years ago when a mysterious Christmas Rooster showed up in my yard. I fed him. He stayed. Keith Ennis (my rooster’s name) started me on my crazy chicken lady journey. 
I built a chicken house & run & bought 4 chicks. Then someone here told me I would need at least 10 to keep Keith Ennis from wearing them out, so I got 6 more chicks.
I now have 27 hens, 2 Roos (one is a son of my current Roo, Buck Cluck. (Keith Ennis died a noble death trying to protect his waives from a raccoon ). Even though I said no more chicks, I just got 6 (one died) Delaware chicks.
I swear, NO MORE!! I now have 4 coops & runs, though the have free run of the property during daylight hours.
NO MORE! I mean it this time!
