Hello everyone. I’m new on this thread but I figured that this would be the right place for me. I raise chickens for many years and I have just started back again and I acquired some mixed breeds from a friend of mine and I have Decided to create a breed. I have ordered some astronauts and sound bar and rocks to grow as comparison birds as well as possible outcrosses. Here is the rooster that I picked and we are not exactly sure what he is although he resembles a red laced Wyandotte quite a bit his temperament and body shape is not the same exactly. And you will find pictures of the hands that I chose as well. They are throwing white, black, and blue colors and they seem to be a cross of a Langshan possibly with a game bird. I hope to be able to develop a great deal purpose breed that I can get to mature for a good size bird relatively fast but not too fast. The Austra Lorup and the bard rocks should provide good genetics for that and the outcrossed this gigantic rooster should provide better size and some of the hatchery stock that is available.
