I am new here and just wanted to say Hello to everyone. My name is Jodie and I live in West Tennessee with my hubby (Gary) and 3 homeschooled DD's (AJ, Alex, Kyli). We have a Great Dane, f, Allie, 1 Mixed Cat, f, Ella, Kyli has a Hampster, f, Lisa, Alex has a Beta Fish, u, Jaws, and we have our first chickens in the incubator (hatch date around July 11th). We went over to pick up some Australorp eggs from a local lady and left with 24 Australorp and Dominique eggs. I'm not sure how many of each I have since the eggs are closely the same in color and size. I am looking for Ameraucana eggs but haven't found any close to where we live.
And I just want to say what a blessing this website has been to us. We just moved out into the country from city living so we are were lost and this website has given us lots of great info and ideas about what we want to do. We have the materials to build our coop and will start that today. I'll be sure and take lots of photos so I can add them on here.
