New here and new to raising chickens!

Hi everyone--

I'm really excited to get started raising my own chickens. I have a coop and chicken run arriving on Saturday and on Sunday I will be getting some Cuckoo Maran hens, 4 of them to start with.

I've been reading up on everything for weeks now, and feel really good about this venture!

Thank you very much! My husband thinks I'm crazy for doing this but I just know we will find it very rewarding. He will get into it once he sees how nice it is, I'm sure.
