New here and to chickens!

Greetings from Connecticut! After wanting chickens for years we finally took the plunge and got our first chicks 4 weeks ago! We got 3 Rhode Island reds, 2 white leghorns, and one bantam who looks like she(hopefully) is going to be a silkie.

I've been reading threads on here for a while and decided to become a member

Welcome to BYC. The bird pictured is a hatchery quality silky - I'm a little concerned that it might be a cockerel.
