New Here Araucana Lover

I'm an old guy from some tough country in the high desert. I have a small 20 acre farm now...was 600 acres once, and used to raise Araucanas. This site seems to provide A Lot of good and useful information.

Find you state forum for local connections. There's plenty of Araucana lovers on here. Do you have any chickens or other fowl right now? 20 acres sounds like plenty to raise birds still. I just have a small flock of 7 chickens and a bunch of quail now on my 1/3 acre suburban lot.

I had from 20 to 30 at any given time, as feral cats, coyotes, foxes, and bobcats allowed...lol

We have a lot of quail here on and around the place. people ask me what I raise now, and I tell them "quail habitat".
