We are newish to chickens. We got our first four girls last spring during quarantine, and have since added more

Barnvelder, Crested Cream Legbar, Amberlink, Barred Rock, Gold Laced Polish (baby), Speckled Sussex (baby). We also had a Wyandotte, but a raccoon got her.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
They have excellent personalities and they are all little lap-chickens.
(5) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
The chickens all actually belong to my 8 and 10 year old kiddos.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I found BYC last year. Whenever I was wondering something I would come here and look through the threads. I finally joined because I had a question that it seemed hadn't already been asked.
