Thanks for all your welcomes, my posting here has bagged me 10 birds. lol I now have a nice pair of blue rosecomb bantams, a trio of easter eggers, and some real nice sicilian buttercup pullets. Love these birds they all eat from my hand and aren't affraid to come right up and nudge me for more. I converted a 6x6x12 dog kennel into a coop. for now i just have like a large doghouse inside that they sleep in but i'm building a larger shed like coop that will be connected to the outside of the kennel. it will be done in a week or 2. hoping to get a roo for the buttercups but no luck finding any in Maine, probably because they don't like the cold, but my coop will be insulated and have power so it won't be an ice box hopefully. Just ordered a hanging waterer, from what i remember from raising birds before they like to make a mess of waterers set on the ground and i was constantly scooping out stuff. i feel like the less i have to do to maintain the birds the more time i'll have to enjoy them. thanks for the hellos.

I thought I saw on the maine thread (where are you, where I am thread)someone also looking for buttercups, was that you or someone else. if it wasn't you, maybe you can point them in the right direction.
