Thank you all for the warm welcome!!!! I think we are jumping right in, indeed! I will be calling the tractor supply store tomorrow. We were in on Saturday and they said they are getting more chicks on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. I think we are going to get some ready to lay pullets that I found on craigs list and then get a couple chicks too. I am very certain that I would like to have some wyandottes. I think they are very beautiful.

We are located about 40 minutes north of Milwaukee.
