Greetings & Salutations. Welcome Elisabeth.
We currently have 17 hens and 2 roos and a few of the hens are in need of saddles (over mating). 5 pullets are almost ready to lay, and another 10 by Labor Day, hence soon to share in the lovin' of the roos. You will usually need more pullets even with 1 cockerel.
This is a wonderful site on which to Learn and enjoy.
