I'm from Utah, too, and we have many of the same breeds (I have Buff Orpingtons and Plymouth Rocks, in the brooder now and americauna/Easters and a speckled Sussex in my grown-up flock!) We already have so much in common.
Oh, and I love some good chicken therapy, too! It IS so calming to watch them. Welcome to BYC!
