I'm Lisa. I'm married and homeschool our 2 teenage sons.

This is my first time owning chickens and I'm in love! My younger son wanted chickens for his 15th birthday, so we bought him some pullets from a coworker of my husband and built him a traveling pen. The chickens we got are so friendly and sweet. I'm enjoying all the information here and my son is already looking at some of the nifty designs for feeders and waterers he can make himself.
