She's my daughter's pet so no bbq for this one

Oh ok I was excited about a BBQ in Hawaii.

Make sure that she doesnt over eat then if she is a pet as Cornish X are known for heart attacks when they get larger.

Have fun with her and hope you get her a few friends, maybe layers would be a good thought if they are pets so then she could have the eggs.

I'd bet money she's a pullet. She can't live alone, she needs a friend!

Yep, friends. Chickens are flock animals and will be immensely lonely if isolated. She looks like a cornish cross, which is a meat bird. They are not designed to live more than a few months. You might want to get a few others so this one isn't lonely and then you can have some layers as well.
