New here with a question

Hi! We just got our first chicks from the store yesterday (2 Buff Orpingtons and 2 Barred Rocks). They have some poop stuck to the ends of their toes and I was wondering if I should do something to clean it off for them.

Also, the guy who helped us couldn't tell us for sure how old they are. Any advice on how we can figure that out?

Keep the young chics as clean as possible.

Sometimes they also get a little poop stuck to their butt, clean that off also.

As for age, if they have very little feathers they are only days old.

If you can post some pics of your chicks, you'll get a very close estimate of their ages.
