New here, "Young Adult"

Thank you all for the warm welcome. I hate this library internet. I have a nice post all ready to go and as soon as I click "post", the conection is lost.

I am eager to get started on this project, but I never start anything without doing the proper research. I realize my goals may be set a bit high for some people my age, but I would rather reach for the stars and land on the moon than reach for a mountian top and land on a hill, as my grandfather would say.

My neighbor has offered to let me pick my birds from his flock, but I am planning on bantams instead. I'm petite and would rather not have birds half my height! Also, his birds are raised for eggs and meat, where as I would rather have something more ornamental. I don't know if I will be showing or not, as I haven't decided on a breed yet. I liked to combine traits to "make" my own varieties in the others animals I've bred. And I could usually show some in AOV. I haven't looked up much on showing yet, so I don't know if that is an option. As I look up the various breeds and traits, I'm learning some of my favorite traits are from differant breeds.
