Hi All,
I’m new to Backyard Chickens (although I’ve been reading threads for quite a while!) and we recently found ourselves with our first chickens- so we’re new to raising chickens as well!
A long story short, we went to buy two rabbits from a breeder and ended up coming home with 6 chickens...and the two bunnies.
We got the chicks early Oct 2017 (I know, not the best time of year for chicks since we live in MN). We were told they’re all bantam silkies and were approx 6-8 weeks old when we got them. Which puts them roughly 4-5 months old now.
I’ve been doing as much reading as possible on the breed but look forward to learning more! Just wanted to say hi
Amanda
