New here

What a nice start!

Welcome and I hope you'll make yourself at home here where there is lots of info for someone starting out. I think folks here kept my girls going for the first year when I was bumbling my way through. I'll always be grateful for the generous spirits, their excellent advice, and their good company! Hope it will be fun for you too.

Are your big girls laying yet?

Hello Monica and welcome to BYC. I hope that you enjoy your time here.

This is a useful link of “How to” BYC guides to take a look at “How to...” guides. I’d suggest including your location using the guide in the link above. You can use this link to contact members in your area - Find your State's thread.

Best wishes

They really do make lovely, companionable pets, don't they?

We wanted eggs from animals we knew were well-cared for and humanely housed. I didn't know there would be laughs and special pleasures from just having them in residence. We're in very urban Los Angeles and having them just makes us feel more grounded and relaxed.
